Marsh bagged a hat-trick in the 46-6 win over Hull KR while Thompson claimed a double. The Australian now has 10 tries this season.
Marsh paid tribute to the platform Widnes’ forwards have given their backs to play off.
“Our forwards are going really well at the minute,” he told Sky.
“Me and Corey are loving it, we’re having a bit of a comp on who can score the most tries. It’s a team effort but we’re just happy to score the tries at the end.”
Marsh is expecting a real battle against Wigan next week.
“We know they’re a tough side and we’ll have to put a tough performance in,” he said.
Hep Cahill said the Vikings are remaining focused.
“This year we’re just focusing on what we’re going to do,” he said.
“It’s just a good team effort every week, not just one person standing up. We just want to focus on week-by-week. It’s coming together as a team at the moment so we’ve just got to keep it up and stay fit.”
