Widnes winger Lloyd Roby has signed a new one-year deal with the club.

The 20-year-old has made 24 appearances for the Vikings so far, scoring 14 tries.

Roby said: “I’m delighted to have signed a new deal with the club, and I can’t wait to get back started ahead of the 2020 season.

“I want to repay the club for their faith in me, from bringing me through the academy system and helping me progress to the first-team.

“Working under Tim Sheens [coach] is something I am really excited about, he is one of the best coaches in the world and I’m sure he will get the best out of me and the rest of the lads.

“I’m hoping for a big season in 2020 where I’ll be looking to try and cement my place in the 17, and I can’t wait to get back out there in front of our fans.”
