Following the recent recruits of Krisnan Inu and Anthony Gelling, we have decided to come up with Widnes’ strongest 17-man squad on paper for 2019.

The Vikings will look different in their first season back in the Championship next season, with Kieron Purtill being their new head coach.

Widnes have pulled off two major coups recently in getting Inu and Gelling to commit to the club for 2019, as well as promising youngsters such as Olly Ashall-Bott, Jordan Johnstone and Ryan Ince.

The Chemics have also brought in Jack Owens and Liam Hood from Leigh Centurions, plus Adam Tangata from Halifax.
