Widnes quartet Simon Finnigan, Danny Sculthorpe, Steve Tyrer and Dean Gaskell will all face the RFL Disciplinary Committee next week after an incident against York last week.

The four, together with York’s Nathan Freer, were cited for fighting in the 45th minute of Widnes’ 76-12 win in the Championship last Sunday.

Finnigan, Sculthorpe and Freer have been charged with Grade A offences, with Tyrer and Gaskell receiving Grade B charges.

Doncaster’s Jamie Bovill has been charged with two Grade C offences in Sunday’s 24-8 defeat against Rochdale for dangerous contact and use of the forearm in possession, and will also face the disciplinary committee.

Rochdale’s Dave Newton has also received a caution for use of the forearmm in possession of the ball in the 48th minute of the same game.
