Widnes’ O’Carroll launches video series

Eamonn O’Carroll has launched a video series which charts his return from a serious shoulder injury.

The series, which can be viewed on Youtube, is called ‘Freddie O’Carroll’s Real Life In Rugby League with Nutrition X’.

Freddie is the Ireland international prop’s nickname.

The series is intended to give supporters an insight into how a professional rugby league player comes back from major injury.

“I wanted to find something productive in this situation, so I thought it would be interesting to give supporters the chance to see what it takes to come back from a serious injury,” O’Carroll explained.

“Supporters see you play on a Friday night or Sunday afternoon, but they don’t really know what happens Monday to Thursday.

“It should be interesting viewing!

“All I want to do is play rugby for the Vikings. I’m determined that this series has a happy ending with me returning to the field in May.”
