Widnes line-up two friendlies

Widnes will host local rivals Warrington in their traditional Boxing Day fixture, and travel to Huddersfield in January as part of their pre-season programme.

Having lost three times to the Wolves in 2012, the Vikings will be looking to give their fans something to cheer about when the two meet at the Stobart Stadium (December 26th, 3pm) over the festive period.

On Sunday 20th January, Denis Betts’ side will travel to the John Smith’s Stadium to face Huddersfield, with new signing and former Giants captain Kevin Brown in line to face his former club.

Widnes get their Super League campaign up and running with a trip to London Broncos on Sunday 3rd February.
