Widnes confirm return of Patrick Ah Van
Winger Patrick Ah Van has re-joined Widnes and goes straight in to their squad for the Championship clash with Rochdale on Sunday.
Ah Van, 31, spent seven seasons with the Vikings before leaving for France at the end of last season, and he returns following the conclusion of the season across the Channel.
A Vikings spokesman said: “Pat has agreed to re-join the club on a short term deal after returning to the country following his current season finishing recently in France.”

The former Bradford man scored 91 tries and 73 goals in 118 appearances for Widnes, who he first joined on their return to Super League in 2012.
Meanwhile, centre Anthony Gelling is facing a spell on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.
