Widnes clash crucial for Hull KR’s Boudebza

Hull KR hooker John Boudebza feels that the Robins’ season could hinge on this week’s game against Widnes.

Rovers welcome the Vikings to the KC Lighstream Stadium on Sunday afternoon, and Boudebza knows that the pressure is building on Chris Chester’s team.

“The Widnes game is very important for us, the club and the fans,” Boudebza told the Hull Daily Mail.

“It does have pressure, but we need to play good under that pressure.

“We feel good, we have trained hard this week to prepare well for this game.

“We have a sad feeling because we haven’t played our best rugby.

“When you lose a game and you gave your best, it’s sad, but when you know you’ve missed the chance of winning an important game, it’s very disappointing.

“You look forward to the next game to try and put things right.

“We are confident, but we need to win this game. We have shown that we can beat anyone this year.”
