Whitehaven have revealed their new away shirt for the 2018 season.

It features light grey and dark grey hoops, with the sponsors standing out from the plain background to give it a modern twist.

They have teamed up with West Cumbrian Sportswear brand, Marras, who are headed up by long-term Haven fans Billy Rudd and Dave Farrell.

The Marras brand is seen as the ‘local brand for the local club’ in Whitehaven and will be supplying the kit to the League 1 outfit as well as teamwear and merchandise for the next two years.

And Haven general manager Amanda Hewer is delighted to have teamed up with Marras.

She said: “We are all over the moon to have Billy and Dave on board for the 2018 season.

“They have put a lot of their own money and time into creating a brand we hope we will have for many years to come.

“Without them and the sponsors, the gift of kit the players have received would have been dramatically less.

“It is a relationship we hope will continue to grow from strength to strength.”
