Whitehaven move for PNG back-rower

Whitehaven have signed Papua New Guinea international Larsen Marabe, subject to visa clearance.

Marabe, 27, played in two of the Kumuls games at the recent World Cup, and joins international team mate Jessie Joe Nandye in Dave Woods’ squad.

The back-rower, who joins from Australian side Orange CYMS, is Haven’s fourth new signing, following on from the captures of Samir Tahraoui, Lee Mitchell and Shaun Ainscough.
