Whitehaven confirm double loan signing

Whitehaven have signed Salford’s Levy Nzoungou and Barrow’s Matty While on one-month loan deals.

Nzoungou will be available for Haven’s game against Workington Town this weekend but While won’t feature.

Carl Forster, Whitehaven head coach, said: “Levy is a great signing for the club. As soon as we knew of his availability, we acted quick and I thank Ian Watson for making this deal happen.

“He’s a big lad and a strong-runner with a great offload. We’re really looking forward to seeing him in a Whitehaven shirt this weekend.”

Forster added: “We’re made up to bring in Matty, he will add size to our pack and depth that we need.

“I’d like to thank Paul (Crarey) for getting this sorted at such short notice.”
