Whitehaven add some French reinforcements

Whitehaven have confirmed that they have signed two players from French Elite 1 club Union Treiziste Catalane.

The two Frenchmen are Jordan Sigismeau, a winger, and Louis Jouffret, a half-back.

Haven football director James Robinson said: “They should arrive in this country sometime today, and will possibly train this evening.

“They are initially here on a month’s trial, and we have the option to sign them up for the rest of the season.

“Hopefully they will give us extra cover as we move into the super eights.”
