Canberra vice-captain Brett White has agreed a new one year deal to remain at the club for 2014.

White, 31, has been invaluable since he arrived in 2011 from Melbourne Storm and he is a huge part of the development for the team’s young forwards.

Raiders CEO Don Furner said White’s re-signing was great for the side and looked forward to seeing him continue his good work.

“Brett is an experienced player who brings a lot to our club and we’re happy to have him sign on for another season,” Furner said.

“His leadership qualities are exceptional and he’s a very big part of our club.”

White is still waiting for his first try in Canberra colours and he has so far made a total of 38 appearances for the club.
