WEST HULL will meet Wath Brow Hornets in the NCL Grand Final after battling their way past SIDDAL 10-6 in the final eliminator.

The champions will head to the Select Security Stadium in Widnes on Saturday to face the Hornets in a repeat of last year’s season finale.

Second rower George Lawler gave the hosts a perfect start when he crashed over with just a minute gone for a try which Josh Hart improved.

Undeterred, the visitors fought back and were level on 11 minutes when Chris Brooke added the extras to a Scott Caley touchdown.

Defences then began to dominate although the home side did manage to hit the front again when centre Daniel Parker raced over for a try nine minutes before the break to make it 10-6.

That proved to the final points of the contest, with both sides defences containing whatever each attack could throw at them as Wests set up a repeat of the 2013 Grand Final.
