Wellens deepens Saints injury woe

St Helens‘ injury problems have deepened with the news Paul Wellens is out for a month with a broken arm.

Wellens suffered the injury in Friday’s defeat at home to Wakefield and he is now a doubt for the Challenge Cup semi-final against Huddersfield.

Mick Potter will also be without hooker James Roby who has suffered a spiral fracture to his hand.
