Watts still harbours England dreams

Hull FC prop Liam Watts has not given up on playing for England, and has not made any holiday plans for the end of the season as a result.

The front rower has been in good form in recent weeks, but he knows that the competition for places is pretty fierce in the England front row at the moment.

“I’ve not booked any holidays yet. But as soon as I find out what’s going to be happening, I’ll try and get away for a couple of weeks,” he told the Hull Daily Mail.

“If I get into the train-on squad I probably won’t go away and I’ll stay in England. I would get straight back into training after everything was done.

“It would be great to even make the train-on squad, but I know the competition is intense.”
