Watts in doubt for Cup clash

Hull FC prop Liam Watts is battling to be right for Friday’s Challenge Cup semi-final against Wigan after he was forced from the field in the win over Salford.

Watts picked up a calf injury at the AJ Bell Stadium and left the pitch in the first half and did not return.

The Black and Whites take on Wigan in the Cup on Friday in Doncaster.

Hull FC coach Lee Radford said the forward will assessed this week.

“I don’t know the severity of it, so we’ll just have to wait and see,” he said.

“But it’s that time of year when little injuries like that heal pretty quick.”
