Watson suspended

Swinton’s Ian Watson has been suspended for two matches after a RFL Disciplinary Tribunal found him guilty of intentionally standing on the leg of an opponent in a Kingstone Press Championship fixture against Sheffield Eagles on July 5.

Watson, 36, who pleaded not guilty to the Grade B offence, was also fined £50 and he will miss the upcoming Lions fixtures against Workington and Featherstone.
