Comedian Adam Hills outrun the Wire Flyer in the half-time challenge at the match between Warrington and St Helens.

The Wolves ran-out 19-0 winners against the Saints to register their first win of the Super League campaign.

And Warrington’s famous ‘Wire Flyer’ was beaten in a race at half-time by comedian Adam Hills, who plays for the club’s Physical Disability Rugby League side.

Hills had a 50-metre head start on the Wire Flyer, as the two had to run around one set off posts before putting the ball in the bin at the other end of the pitch.

Before the race, Hills joked: “If the leg falls off, it’s not actually a joke. It is actually falling off!”

The Australian celebrated with the “sausage roll” dive in the half-time challenge.
