Washbrook wants big performance in Hull derby

Hull FC forward Danny Washbrook is keen to see his side put in one of the season’s best performances against local rivals Hull KR on Thursday.

FC have faltered from their perviously fine form in their last two games, which they have lost, and have dropped from the top of the table.

But Washbrook believes that derby passion will soon have the Airlie Birds firing again.

“It’s one of the biggest games of the season, the derby match at home in front of our fans,” he told his club’s official website.

“We know we need a performance, and I don’t think we’ve performed our best when we’ve played them this year. We know we need to be up for that one.

“It’s a big one, and for us it’s about getting back onto the winning streak. We need to get the performance right.”
