Warriors and Wolves in hunt for Young Player of the Year award

The RFL have confirmed the names of the three players who are on the shortlist for the Super League Young Player of the Year award.

Two Wigan Warriors are on the list, in the shape of winger Joe Burgess and stand-off George Williams. The trio is completed by the inclusion of Ben Currie, Warrington’s young back rower.

Players have to be under 21 years of age at the start of the season to be considered for the Young Player of the Year award.
