Warrington Wolves have confirmed that promising full-back Jack Johnson will miss the rest of the season after suffering a horror injury in training.

The 21-year-old snapped his tibia and fibula in training yesterday.

In a short statement, the Wolves said: “The performance team have said that he is in good spirits.

“All at the club wish him well with his recovery.”

Johnson made his first team debut for the Wolves in 2015 and has since played 16 games for the club, scoring six tries.

He has spent time on loan with Widnes Vikings and also on a dual-registration agreement with Rochdale Hornets.
