Speaking on rejoining the Club, Heaton told the club website: “I’m excited to be back with the Women’s team for 2022.

“What the Club have put in place for the development of the Ladies is fantastic. I’m really pleased to be part of this journey.

“The Girls have been fantastic since I’ve returned to pre-season training and I’m sure they’re looking forward to the pre-season we have planned.

“Working with Wez [Lee Westwood, Head Coach], Bennie [Westwood, Assistant Coach] and the other coaches was a big factor for me choosing to come back and I’m excited with where we can take the Girls’ game to.”
