Warrington to select Anthony Gelling again

Drew Darbyshire

Warrington have confirmed that Anthony Gelling will be available for selection this week.

The 29-year-old was arrested on suspension of wounding with intent at his home in Widnes on February 8.

Subsequently, Gelling was dropped from his playing duties pending a club investigation – but the Wolves have confirmed he will be available for selection by coach Steve Price again.

A club spokesman said: “The incident in question is now solely a police matter and the club will await updates on the investigation before considering any change in approach.

“The club and player will make no further comment at this time.”
