Warrington to face Hull FC in Challenge Cup semi-finals

Warrington have been drawn to face fellow Super League side Hull FC in the semi-finals of the Challenge Cup.

The game is a meeting of the 2016 final, when the black-and-whites claimed a narrow 12-10 win. FC went on to claim back-to-back Cup final wins, but failed to make it to Wembley last season.

The two sides have already met twice this season, with Warrington picking up a 63-12 win at the KCOM Stadium back in March, while Lee Radford’s side avenged their loss with a 19-12 win at the Halliwell Stadium two weeks ago.

In the other semi-final, Halifax’s reward for toppling Bradford is a tie against Super League leaders St Helens, who eased past Wakefield yesterday.

The two games form part of a triple header at Bolton’s University of Bolton Stadium, taking place alongside the Women’s Challenge Cup final.
