Warrington are encouraging fans to get to the Halliwell Jones Stadium early for this evening’s Betfred Super League clash with Castleford Tigers to be part of Europe’s first ever Human Video Board.

The Wolves have teamed up with Fan Engagement Partner, Direct Taxi’s, and the innovative app creators behind the Human Video Board to offer fans the chance to take part in a unique lightshow that originates from their smartphones.

Human Video Board is a revolutionary system for creating amazing smartphone animated light shows in stadiums and arenas, having previous featured in the American MLS with Sporting Kansas City.

Fans are asked to download the Human Video Board app from the Apple store or Google Play, and the club are encouraging supporters to arrive at least 10 minutes before kick-off.

Warrington Chief Executive Karl Fitzpatrick said: This is a European first and is a fantastic initiative. You download an app on your phone and hold it up and it creates a pattern to the music.

“When people come to The Halliwell Jones Stadium, we know they will see a fantastic product and performance on the pitch but we want to make sure that is matched off the pitch.”
