Warrington have agreed a four year deal agreement with airline company Emirates to become the main sponsorship and the official airline for the club.

Club Chairman Steven Broomhead and the Emirates District Sales Manager for the North West, Julie Bailey revealed the agreement at a Halliwell Jones Stadium press conference today.

Warrington CEO Andy Gatcliffe said: “The club has had an association with Emirates for a number of years and greatly appreciates the partnership support.

“Joining the likes of sporting giants AC Milan, Arsenal and Formula One shows the desire the club has to reach its full potential and spread the word of Warrington Wolves.”

Having a worldwide company like Emirates is significant for the future of the Wolves, helping to promote them around the world and increase their fan base. This deal is one of the biggest sponsorships that Rugby League has seen in many of years as well as the biggest in the club’s history.

Julie Bailey said: “The partnership is a natural extension of our existing rugby sponsorship portfolio, and reflects the core values of our purpose to enrich the experiences of rugby fans in the UK.

“Through this sponsorship, we want to pay tribute to the amazing support of the people of Warrington to this team and to the wider north-west region.”

As part of the sponsorship, Emirates will be advertised on the Warrington Wolves home and away shirts as well as in and around the stadium, and also on the club website.
