Warrington relief for Evans

Warrington centre Rhys Evans has escaped serious injury and is likely to be back on the field for the Wolves centre.

Evans injured his shoulder in Warrington’s Friday night win over Wigan. There were fears that the centre had dislocated his shoulder.

Evans left the field in the first half after sustaining the injury while making a tackle.

Yesterday Evans tweeted: “Scan came back good, hopefully just a severe stinger, fingers crossed be back very soon, thanks everyone for the messages.”
