Warrington prop Joe Philbin says it will be a privilege to play alongside superstar Greg Inglis next season.

Former Australia and Queensland representative Inglis will move over to Super League with the Wolves for the 2021 campaign.

“What a signing. What a beast,” Philbin said.

“From playing at Warrington I feel like I’m privileged enough to say that I’ve had the pleasure of playing alongside some absolute superstars and legends but I don’t think there is a bigger name in rugby league, is there?”

Inglis’ centre partner Toby King has quickly become one of the standout centres in Super League.

Philbin came through the ranks at Warrington alongside King and has also played with him internationally for Ireland and England Knights.

“Toby King is unbelievable,” Philbin added.

“I’ve played with him since our academy days and I’ve known since then that he is going to be an absolute superstar.

“I’ve played with him for years so I know what he can do. He’s showing people what he can do and I think some people are surprised with how good he has been but he hasn’t surprised any of us because we see what he can do day in, day out.

“He can take high balls in training with one hand and it is like squeezing a golf ball to him.”
