Warrington forward Pat Moran has joined Sheffield on a one-month loan deal with immediate effect.

The 21-year-old has made one first-team appearance for Warrington, coming off the bench to help them beat Bradford Bulls in the Challenge Cup last year.

Moran played for the majority of the 2018 season for Championship side Rochdale Hornets on dual-registration and has made five appearances for the Hornets this year.

Sheffield coach Mark Aston said: “I’m pleased we’ve been able to bring in Pat on a month’s loan.

“He’s a player we have kept tabs on for some time now and he’s a big, tough forward and will certainly add to us as we head into a important but tough stage of the season including two games over the Easter weekend.

“He made an impact with Rochdale last season on dual-registration. Pat’s young, eager and keen to impress which are all attributes we want in a player coming into our environment.”
