Warrington forward Eribe Doro has extended his loan deal with Widnes until the end of the 2022 Championship season.

The Vikings originally signed the young forward on an initial one month’s loan earlier in January.

Doro, 20, has featured in all three of Widnes’ Championship games so far this season.

He scored his first try for the club against Halifax.

Doro spent time on loan at Widnes last season playing in the Vikings’ first three games before being recalled by his parent club.

Eribe Doro loving life at Widnes

“I’ve loved my time at Widnes so far and I’m really enjoying my rugby,” said Doro.

“With the group of lads here, I think we can achieve some big things this year and I wanted to stay and be a part of that. I’m excited.”

Widnes remain undefeated in their 2022 Championship campaign, sitting third in the table.

Simon Finnigan’s side opened their campaign with a 34-12 away victory at London Broncos. They scored 70 against Whitehaven at home in round two before defeating Halifax 9-8 at The Shay.

Doro has been named in the club’s squad to face Dewsbury tonight live on Premier Sports.
