Warrington have confirmed the signings of forwards Andre Savelio and Dom Crosby for 2017.

As Love Rugby League revealed last week, Savelio joins from St Helens.

The forward came through the ranks at Saints but fell out of favour this year and went on loan to Castleford.

The 21-year old debuted for St Helens in 2014.

Savelio has signed a one-year deal with Warrington.

“I’m delighted that I’m joining my home-town team,” he said.

“I always wished one day it would happen. I played with Dec Patton and Joe Philbin at junior level, so to have the opportunity to play alongside them for Warrington is like a dream come true.

“There is a quality squad at Warrington and I know I’m going to have to work extremely hard to get in the 17.”

Prop Crosby also arrives from Wigan Warriors.

The 25-year old front-rower made his debut for Wigan in 2011 and has made more than 80 appearances for the Warriors.

Crosby said: “I’m delighted and honoured to be joining Warrington. It’s a big club with a lot of history.

“I really like the brand of rugby they play and I’m hoping their style will help develop my game further.

“I’m good mates with a few of the current Warrington boys and I’ve heard nothing but great things about the club.”
