Warrington have revealed that Jack Hughes will be signing for them for the 2016 season.

The player, currently on loan at Huddersfield from Wigan, has signed a two-year deal which runs until November 2017.

“I am proud to be joining this great club,” said the 23-year-old.

“I look forward to giving my best in the seasons to come, working with Tony Smith and joining up with the squad in the off-season.”

Warrington head coach Tony Smith is pleased to have added a player of such pedigree to his squad for the 2016 campaign.

“He’s a terrific young British player and I have a lot of time for Jack,” he said.

“He has had a very, very good year; he’s been very strong for Huddersfield. He’s a big, strapping lad who has a strong desire to play for our club and I think he’s got a really healthy future.

“He is a potential England representative in the near future and we are hoping to help him on that route to achieve this.

“I think he’s going to play a really big role in our future and will give us a lot of depth in our back row, as well as his versatility to play in the backs.”
