Warrington have confirmed that centre Bryson Goodwin will leave the club at the end of the season to join South Sydney Rabbitohs.

Goodwin, 33, has scored 23 tries in 49 appearances for the Wolves since signing ahead of the 2018 season from Leigh following their relegation from Super League.

He said: “I felt that this was a really good opportunity, we put all the pieces together and my family and I felt that this is the right decision and the right time to come home.

“(South Sydney) are going really well at the moment and hopefully next year we can do well too.

“I’m really looking forward to (heading back to Souths), but first and foremost I’m really looking forward to finishing this year off strongly at Warrington, hopefully make the Challenge Cup Final and take out the Super League, doing one better in each comp than we did last year.”

Goodwin previously played in the NRL for Cronulla and Canterbury, before joining the Rabbitohs in 2013.
