Warrington chief executive Andy Gatcliffe is leading calls for a two tier Super League of 10 sides each with promotion and relegation.

Super League bosses are due to meet in November to discuss the current structure of the game, with a possible reduction in teams in the top flight due for discussion, as well as ways to improve the play-offs.

He told the Warrington Guardian: “We always want the structure of Super League to be moving forward because we have not found the solution for everything yet.

“We have got to look at everything, including how we want the international fixtures to fit into it. But I am a fan of two 10 team leagues with promotion and relegation.

“Because the supply change would be there for clubs and maybe it would increase revenues.”

The current licensing system and TV deal runs until the end of 2014.
