Wane welcomes Burke back to Wigan

Wigan coach Shaun Wane is looking forward to working with Greg Burke again, after the middle unit forward returned to the Warriors from a loan spell at Hull KR.

Wane believes that spending the 2015 season with the East Yorkshire outfit has made Burke a more complete player than he was previously.

“Greg looks in good shape, and he seems to be more mature than the player who left,” Wane told Wigantoday.net.

“He’s a Wigan lad and going away to a new club, a new environment and having to make a new bunch of friends, it’s helped him.

“And of course he gained a lot of playing experience, and hopefully that will help him kick on.”
