Wane warned about future conduct

Wigan coach Shaun Wane has been warned to moderate his future conduct by the RFL.

The warning comes following recent criticism of match officials by Wane.

An RFL statement reads:

“Mr Wane was deemed to be in breach of RFL Operational Rules D1.1(b) Improper Conduct and C2.8 Criticism of Match Officials and the RFL’s Respect Policy.

“The warning relates to public comments made following the First Utility Super League fixture against Catalans Dragons played on Saturday May 23 and comments made from the stand at the fixture against Leeds Rhinos played on Saturday May 30.”
