Wigan coach Shaun Wane is still waiting on the fitness of winger Josh Charnley and loose forward Sean O’Loughlin ahead of Sunday’s visit of Wakefield.

O’Loughlin missed Monday’s win over Hull KR with a back problem, while Charnley has had stitches in an ankle injury.

Wane told the club’s official website: “Sean is still struggling a bit with a back problem, I will have a look at him today. Josh Charnley is the other, he had 15 stitches in his ankle at the weekend but he should be OK, if not he will be fine for the Bradford game.”

The Warriors treatment room is set to be departed by Anthony Gelling, who could return from a hamstring injury against the Wildcats, while forwards Lee Mossop and Harrison Hansen could be fit for next week’s trip to Bradford.
