Wigan coach Shaun Wane is to take his squad for another training camp later this week, with the Warriors set to spend three days in Wales.

The Wigan squad will train at a top-class facility in the Valleys, after spending time in Ripon with the British Army before Christmas.

Wane is pleased that the international players in his squad are now properly rested and ready for club work.

“We’ll have three days on the field, the internationals are back in now after a good break so we’ll have all the squad together,” the coach told Wigan Today.

“History tells me they needed a proper break from the game after the autumn internationals, and they’ve had that and now they’re back in.

“Having so many international players is great for us as a club. but not really as a team, so we’ve got to make sure we manage it and make the best of it.

“Going away gives us a chance to have three intense days, and get some good time on the field.”
