Shaun Wane believes that Hull FC come into the game against his Wigan side as the favourites considering their recent run of form.
Wigan are able to welcome back a number of high profile stars back into the reckoning for this week’s game with the Black and White, that include the likes of Joel and Sam Tomkins whereas Hull head to the DW Stadium on the back off an impressive victory over St Helens in the Challenge Cup.
But despite a number of players returning, the Wigan head coach is insistent the away side must be considered the favourites to win this game.
“They’re going to go into the game red-hot favourites the way everybody’s talking,” Wane told WiganToday.net.
“I’m a big fan of how they play. We can see they’re bouncing at the moment. All the clubs are talking about how good they are at the moment and everyone on social media is bigging them up.
“Now I’ve got players fit and ready to go and it’s going to be a good feeling. This is the first time this year we’ve picked the team – up until now it’s been the physios doing it.
“They can roll into really confident and we can go about our business and try to challenge them and make it a tough game.”
