Walton gets one week ban
Wakefield utility Jason Walton has been handed a one game ban for a dangerous throw in the loss to St Helens.
Walton was charged with a dangerous throw on Saints skipper Jon Wilkin during the Wildcats’ 44-4 defeat at Langtree Park.
He submitted an early guilty plea and will miss this Friday’s match against Hull FC.
The centre/back-rower joined Wakefield at the start of the year from London.
