Brisbane halfback Peter Wallace is on target to return to action next week after missing the victory over Canberra with a groin strain.
Wallace showed no ill-effects from the training session completed today and hopes to make his comeback against Gold Coast next Friday.
“I did a pretty tough session this morning and I got through it so all is looking good for next week,” said Wallace.
The Titans’ shock victory over Manly at the weekend has certainly raised some eyebrows in the Broncos camp, according to Wallace.
“They seem to have hit a bit of form,” he said.
“They are always good clashes up here with a big crowd and are local derbies too, so are good to be a part of.
“I’ll be happy to be back next week.
“I’ll do full training Monday and if everything goes to plan I should be right for Friday.”
