Walker takes one match ban

Hull KR prop Adam Walker has accepted a one match ban after entering an early guilty plea for punching an opponent.

The incident took place in his side’s 38-34 capitulation against Salford City Reds when he started fighting with Reds’ forward Lee Jewitt just before full-time.

The pair were both sent off and charged with grade B offences by the Rugby Football league but since the 21-year-old entered an early guilty plea he will no longer face a disciplinary hearing.

The one match ban will see him miss Hull KR‘s home fixture against Warrington Wolves on Sunday.

Jewitt has also since submitted an Early Guilty Plea, and will miss the Reds’ game against London.
