Walker joins twin brother at Hull KR

Hull KR have announced the signing of Jonathan Walker from Yorkshire rivals Castleford.

Walker, 22, is the twin brother of Robins prop Adam Walker, who joined the club a year ago from Huddersfield.

Jonathan leaves the Tigers after three seasons at the club, in which he made a total of 48 appearances, scoring four tries.

After agreeing a three-year contract with Rovers, Walker said, “As brothers, we are competitive and I think playing together will help to drive us on even more and improve our games.

“Playing for the same club is something we’ve always wanted to do, so to get this opportunity is great and one that I’m really looking forward to.”
