Catalans utility Chris Walker has been banned for two matches after he was found guilty of illegal use of the forearm.

Walker, who pleaded not guilty to making a reckless tackle, was also find £300 for the challenge that left Hull KR‘s Liam Colbon with a broken jaw in the Dragons’ 16-10 win over Rovers at the weekend.

He will miss Catalans’ Easter fixtures against Huddersfield and Leeds.

Leeds prop Ryan Bailey is free to play for the defending champions against Bradford on Thursday despite being found guilty of making an illegal tackle on Stuart Fielden of Wigan in last Friday’s Engage Super League Round 8 fixture at DW Stadium.

Bailey admitted making a tackle which placed undue pressure on Fielden’s shoulder joint in the 79th minute and the Disciplinary Committee, who noted that the player had received two warnings for similar offences this season, ruled that a £300 fine was sufficient punishment.
