Wales international Sion Jones has signed a new three-year deal with Halifax.

The front-rower will remain at The Shay until the end of the 2022 season, having made 13 appearances for Fax in 2019.

Halifax coach Simon Grix said: “Sion has shown promise in recent years with his physical attributes and the punch he has proved us when called upon.

“Sion is on the road to recovery and we are looking forward to getting him back in the fold after having missed him this year.

“We will work hard to get him ready to go as soon as possible and look forward to the impact he can make in 2020.”
