Wakefield’s postponed match against Catalans will not take place on Monday night.

The Super League round two fixture, which was supposed to be played on Sunday, will be re-arranged for a later date in the season.

There was some hope that the game would be played on Monday night – but Wakefield have confirmed that will not be happening.

The club have confirmed that all tickets will be valid for the re-arranged fixture.

Storm Ciara caused havoc on Sunday, with the Wakefield-Catalans and Huddersfield-Leeds being called off due to the poor weather conditions.

Wakefield host Warrington on Sunday, with Catalans taking on Castleford in the south of France on Saturday.
