Outside back Ben Jones-Bishop has signed a contract extension with Wakefield.

Jones-Bishop joined the club ahead of the 2016 season on a one-year contract with the option of a further year.

He has now penned a deal to see him in the red, white and blue jersey until the end of 2017.

The fullback, who has also featured on the right wing under Chris Chester, has featured 20 times this season scoring 11 tries ahead of the Super 8s.

“I am really happy to continue my stay here at Wakefield,” Jones-Bishop said.

“It has been an enjoyable year with the boys and I am looking forward to being a part of the clubs progression next season.”
