Wakefield hooker joins Dons on loan

Wakefield hooker Matty Wildie has joined Doncaster on a month’s loan.

Wildie, 23, has made 30 Super League appearances for the Wildcats, and played in this season’s wins over Catalan and London.

He joins Paul Cooke‘s side with them sitting second in the Championship and facing Halifax this weekend.

The two clubs were partnered last season, but the partnership was severed in the close season, following a row over players between Richard Agar and then Dons coach Tony Miller.

Doncaster have since partnered with Super League side Hull.
