Wakefield bring in Chris Green from Hull

Challenge Cup - Hull FC v Castleford Tigers - Thursday 9 May

Wakefield have signed prop Chris Green on loan from Hull.

Green, 29, follows Morgan Escare to Belle Vue as Trinity bolster their ranks for the relegation battle.

Coach Chris Chester said: “To add a player of Chris’ experience to the squad is a big boost.

“He strengthens the pack as we enter a crucial part in the season and gives us competition in the middle.

“I’d like to thank Hull FC for allowing this deal to happen.”

Green has played nearly 150 matches for Hull since making his debut in 2011, but will be ineligible to face his parent club this week.

Meanwhile, Frenchman Escare joined from Wigan on a similar deal earlier this week.
